What joy to return to a country through the water ... two days (13 hours) is carried away quietly on the river Mekong ... hours to observe the fishermen, miners and the sun is blazing palm trees, rocks and sand along the banks ... Sometimes a smoke on the horizon indicates potential homes ... but rare are the buildings (aside from a few wooden bungalows) come upsets this impressive nature. Laos is certainly far from being touched by modern life such as Thailand is ... Dailleurs 75% of the population still lives in a farming activity and only 66% of the population is literate. It is thus evident that the communication here is much more complicated because few people speak English ... by the cons are relatively speaking french ...!
Did you know that Laos was a colony French for almost 80 years? Well I think that they never knew ... The borders of Indochina in Vietnam stopped for me ... It is therefore a great surprise to find here chopsticks, wine ... and many explanations in french tourist.
